Amigurumi...!
According to Wikipedia,
"Amigurumi is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. Amigurumi are typically cute animals (such as bears, rabbits, cats, dogs, etc.), but can include inanimate objects endowed with anthropomorphic features. Amigurumi can be either knitted or crocheted."

When I am bored I tend to get into things that most folk my age don't like...crocheting. Not saying that I don't know any young girls (and guys) that crochet during their pastime but they are most certainly not increasing numbers. So recently I discovered that enjoy in making Amigurumi dolls! Amigurumi creations come in every form, fruit, food, or drink....anything you can think of. They are fun to make and very easy and most of time small to mid-size. The thing that is particularly significant to Amigurumi creations is that they are all made from a single crochet pattern in one continuous row. If that makes no sense to you don't worry..simply put...its easy. In my opinion I think they are good for beginners to make.

The results are interesting, fun, cute, applicable to life, and great gifts! I love them! They have become popular around the world and people are always finding something new to create. They even have a music video thanks to its native Japanese creators.

I still down for a sucka punch. But! This is my soft side. Yea. I`ve made a couple of bears for my friends kids and other things as gifts. They are really simple and cute.
