Box.net Files- A Great Application on Linkedin4/15/2009 9:48:00 AMI am a recruiter and spend a lot of my time in searching professionals on LinkedIn. Today while conducting search on LinkedIn I came across a great application Box.net files. I always used to wonder earlier how to make my connections know about the job requirements I was working on in order to get some responses through them. It was impossible to put description in the “What are you working on now?” section due to lack of word limit it has. But, Box.net application solved my problem.
This application allows me to upload number of job descriptions which can be easily downloadable by other parties online. These files are visible on my profile page. This increases the reach of job requirements and it is as good as advertising the requirement. I am not sure about the results I may get through this as it has been only one day I have added this application to my profile but it indeed seems to be a great idea to upload these job descriptions on my LinkedIn profile.
