Overview

A website where you quickly create an online magazine and collaborate with friends.

We have an online image editor where you can quickly create your magazine cover. No need to install any software, you do it all online. Please view the Video Tour.

You can quickly add your content as well as use the “Clip This” feature to compile content from other OpenZine users.

“Clip This” allows you to offer content to other OpenZine users. When another user Clips your content your attribution is attached wherever they display it. You continue the same control of your content.

OpenZine is free. We run ads on most pages to pay for the service and keep the servers running.

OpenZine is a great way to connect and profoundly express yourself and your brand. Feel free to use OpenZine for personal and or commercial purposes.

You must signup to OpenZine to subscribe to someone’s zine. Once you have activated your account, click the subscribe link at the top of each zine page.

You can create as many magazine issues as you want but each has one cover and one page.

It’s pronounced "open-zeen" as in magazine.

Account Setup

When you sign up we send you an activation email to the email address you provided. You may want to check your spam folder. If you have not received your activation email in 24 hours you can login and click to resend your activation email. Please add openzine.com to your address book to insure email delivery.

You must be able to receive email from OpenZine to activate your account.

We don’t have this just yet. We’ll add this feature as soon as we can. You can add external widgets and images using the HTML mode in the text editor.
